DESCRIPTION
Daphni beach is a marvellous place where during Spring 2016 Antonis restaurant and the Grill House has started a special collaboration.
The two best restaurants of this beach has created a partnership that will give you the opportunity to spend an unforgettable day in Dafni beach, in the hearth of Zakynthos Marine Park.
Going down to the beach from the parking keep your right hand.
In the middle, between Antonis restaurant and the Grill House, there is a green area with free sunbeds. Here you can relax under wild pine trees that face the beach and just few meters far from the sea. On your left hand you have the Grill House that serve only meat dishes, while on your right hand Taverna Antonis is specialised in fresh fish menu.
At Dafni restaurant most of meat dishes are cooked with wood fired barbecue and we also suggest you to try traditional Greek starters as Tzatziki, Skordopsomo and Taramosalata, all served with the traditional beaked Pita bread.
If you prefer to eat fish for your lunch or dinner, just have a seat on your right hand at Antonis restaurant. here the fish is always fresh and is prepared on the barbecue, in the oven, fried or in salt crust. Also here you can taste very good starters and delicious salads prepared by the chef.
Doesn‘t matter if you choose the Grill House or taverna Antonis, dafni beach is a wonderful place where to spend an entire day during your holidays on Zakynthos island.
Dafni beach is one of the best place in Zakynthos to see also the Caretta Caretta turtle that every year choose this bay for their reproduction. If you come here early in the morning in August and September you also have great possibilities to see small turtles breaking the eggs and reach the sea.

Dafni Beach is placed in the peninsula of Vassilikos facing the Gulf and from the beach you can see the islands of Pelouzo and Marathonissi as well as all the gulf in the south of Zakynthos island.

Amazing restaurant on Dafni beach. Great food especially fresh fish in natural beautiful environment.
Bellissima taverna greca in riva al mare. Spiaggia di sabbia con le covata delle tartarughe e parco giochi per i bambini. Inoltre si mangia benissimo e si spende il giusto. Luogo splendido.
Beautiful place! Nice sandy beach with local restaurant that let u decide to taste meat or fish cuisine. We came here 2 times!
